Pancake Festival #2
Hey, if you love the pancake festival as much as we do, why not make it a two weekend event! This Saturday, the Mindy, Michael, Sara Jane, Savannah, and I loaded up and headed on over to IHOP at 9:00 AM. Michael, Sara Jane, and Savannah all still had on their pjs! When we walked into IHOP Michael asked his mom where his ticket was? Too funny! Funny face pancakes, eggs, chocolate milk, and some whip cream galore! Once again, great time with the Browns!
The kids all loaded up in the back. Savannah has this obsession with riding in a car seat and holding someone's hand. Michael (Mimel) didn't mind.
Michael's TOO cool shirt!
Sara Jane LOVED her mini cakes.
Of course Savannah eat all of her pancakes!

Happy Birthday JENNY!
Jenny's birthday was filled with the three F's! Fun, Family, and Friends....at El Chicos! We all got together at 7:30 to celebrate 19 wonderful years (and Savannah's 16 month birthday) and we didn't end up leaving the restaurant until 10:00! I thought that I would completely dedicate this blog to Jenny.
J stands for...Just. There is no doubt about it, Jenny is....well...JUST Jenny! She has definitely created and formed her own personality unlike any other "19 year old" out there. No mistake about it, there is none like her, she is who she is, and don't try to change her!
E stands for...Equine. She didn't exactly follow in her big sister's footsteps in this area. Equine...The meaning of the word equine as used when discussing horses or ponies. I LOVE horses, but this girl LOVES horses 24/7!
N stands for...Not in a relationship. More than one word, but hey, it's my blog and I can do what I want. Jenny is...what's the word...single and NOT ready to mingle. Don't ask me why, but the girl is without a boyfriend. Cero, Zilch, notta boyfriend in sight? Refer back to letter "J" for more explanation on this.
N stands for...Nineteen! Jenny turned 19 on February 4th. Still not an adult but acts older than her age...at times!
Y stands for...Young. To be this young and be the owner of your own business....that is a huge accomplishment! We are so proud of you for being so goal-oriented and not letting the word "fail" enter your vocabulary! Way to go aunt Jen Jen!
One of the 3 super hot Kardashian (I mean Wright) sisters!
The birthday girl and her browning (is that what the equine world calls it) birthday cake!
The awesome browning? birthday cake that my injured UPS driver, turned baker dad made for the party!

The awesome cupcakes that Savannah and I made.
The "in" crowd that attended the parta of the year!
The 16 month old birthday girl!
My camera loved taking pics of Renni and her eating skills!
After Renni stuck her WHOLE hand in the queso and shoved it in her mouth!
They were finally free of their high chairs!
The birthday girl opening up gifts with her little helper!

Walmart Greeter

Today, Savannah and I went to the United to pick up a few groceries. I learned a few things about my little girl on this particular trip. 1. Please, please, please, if she says "Hello" to you, say it back! haha! 2. I need to go on grocery shopping trips more often, they are always an adventure!
Every aisle we went down, every person we passed, they would get a "hellooo". We came across some very friendly elderly people in this town who wanted to tell me about all of their children that are now 65 years old. I gained tons of new friends today. If, for some reason, they didn't answer her, it became more frequent, "hellooo, hellooo, hellooo". If they still didn't answer, I would calmly say, "they said hello, you just didn't see". She wasn't falling for it! Being the smarty pants she is, she would continue with "hellooo, helloooo, hellooo, hellooo".
So, as we were driving home, I thought to myself...stop throwing money away into the college fund, our little girl isn't going to college? She is destined to be a Walmart greeter!

PONYTAILS!
Today was our first official day that we were able to put our hair in a ponytail! I LOVE it! How precious is that...seriously?? Look at those sweet little rolls on her neck!

Blog book purchased and received!
One of the main reasons of blogging, in my opinion, is to have a blog book printed for a keepsake gift for your child. I had every intention of giving Savannah her blog book in October of her first year of life for her first birthday.
Problem #1, the site I used will only publish your blog into a book if you have 1000 pictures or less. Considering I had 1,079 pictures (shocker, I know), they wouldn't print my book. I put this devastating problem off for a couple of months and finally came back to it a couple of weeks ago. I fixed the problem as painlessly as possible. I simply changed the date of the Washington pictures to the next year. So, for her second book, she will be getting the Washington pictures, which makes complete sense anyways. I only wanted the first book to be October 4, 2008 to October 4, 2009. Considering we went to Washington after October 4th, it worked out perfect!
Anyways, the pdf version of my book, which was a complete blessing that they offered this because earlier this year my computer crashed, so now I have all of the lost pictures! All in all, the book came out to be about 224 pages.
We received our blog book in the mail today and I couldn't be happier!! I would like to thank everyone that left us comments over the past year on our blog. The comments were printed with the individual entries! It is extra special when you have such kind words from friends and family to keep and cherish forever!

Happy Valentine's Day
Savannah's Valentines present arrived today. Yup, I couldn't wait. I went ahead and gave it to her. Considering it was a rainy, icy, windy, cold day, I figured she needed something new and fun to play with. I ordered her some refrigerator magnets off of Etsy.com. I love them! They are recycled Coca - Cola cans made into Alphabet magnets. She has played with them for hours now. Although we have already lost the "O", it's not that big of a deal because they were very inexpensive! Thanks Etsy.com!
