It's SUMMER time...not really

Ok, so I am REALLY ready for Summer! So ready that on Sunday, me, Jackie and mom changed Savannah into the bathing suit that her mamma bought for her and turned on the heaters in the living room (it was cold outside) and acted like it was SUMMER! Lets just say that she LOVES her ducky, her bathing suit, the cell phone, and splashing the invisible water!

MILESTONE...

Well, my little girl finally moved to her big girl crib. (sob sob) On Valentines night, I was rocking Savannah in her room and something made me lay her down in her crib. I guess I had thoughts of her being 18 years old and laying next to me and Jeremy in her pack and play. Not that I would mind, so I could keep my eye on her, but I know that it was time for her to move to her room. She has LOVED her crib. She has been falling asleep a whole lot easier at night and at nap time. She still sleeps throughout the night just like normal, but I feel like I have lost my mind since she moved out! I feel as if I get up every 10 minutes to check on her! Before, I could just turn over and check on her! Even though I have a video monitor right next to the bed, I still feel as if I need to get up and walk in there and see with my own eyes that she is doing OK. Hopefully, I am just adjusting and after a week of her being in her own room, I will start sleeping better (fingers crossed). This brings me to my next question....ARE BUMPER PADS SAFE? I think this topic is what is making me lose my mind. You hear so many bad things about bumper pads. Am I crazy or is this something I really need to worry about? I really hope that she is over the age that I need to be worrying about things like this because I really love my bumper pads. Fellow moms...what do you think?

Four Months

On Friday, we had our 4 month checkup. Savannah is in the 50th percentile on weight (13.3 pounds) and the 85th percentile on height (25 3/8 inches). She is able to sit up on her own in her pink chair now. Every month that goes by, I get sad thinking about her getting older, but I am also loving every new month that goes by more than the last!

4 Months Old...my baby girl is growing up!

Today, we set out to brave the wind/cold to take pictures of Savannah by Geri Merrick...gmphotos! She does a WONDERFUL job! Anyone interested in some pictures for your wedding, baby, or just for fun, you should definitely give her a call!

Savannah is 4 months old now and looking older and older everyday! Geri emailed me and asked me if she could take some pictures of Savannah in a toboggan and some winter outfits. I LOVE taking pictures of Savannah, so I was MORE than happy to get her dressed up in picture mode!

We also hit another HUGE milestone today. We took Savannah to the nursery at church. Lets just say...Savannah wasn't the one crying. I felt as if I had just watched her cross the stage at graduation. I had a little breakdown like she was leaving me forever even though it was just an hour long church service. I am definitely going to have to get a hold of myself before she enters kindergarten!
