Fantasy of Lights

On one of the more warmer nights of December, we bundled up and headed out to the Fantasy of Lights and the Country Club. Savannah was fascinated by all of the Christmas decorations at the Fantasy of Lights. This year, I am appreciating everything about Christmas even more because I am seeing everything through Savannah's eyes!
A tree in the Country Club that I look forward to seeing every year!
Enjoyed dancing with the 3 little pigs the most!
One last picture before we had to head home. Savannah was at the beginning of starting to become sick.

Big girl eater!

As many of you know, we have had problems with our little girl wanting to eat like a big girl. I hear time and time again, my little girl/boy will eat any and everything! Well, not my little girl! She would live off of milk if I would let her! Well, today was a COMPLETELY different story! I cooked a baked potato and chicken strips. I put her in her big girl chair at the table, shredded up the chicken, and put her some baked potato on her plate. I have never seen anything like it! She LOVED her chicken strips and she LOVED her baked potato even more! What can I say...like mother, like daughter! Hopefully, we are on the road to recovery in the eating area?!?

3 weeks, no dents...

Until, December 19th rolled around and proved that Jeremy wasn't meant to drive a dentless truck! Savannah's Mamma and Pa took her to the Children's service Sunday night, December 19th. Jeremy and I decided to run and get something to eat. I was dropping Savannah off at Mom and Dad's house and Jeremy was on his way to meet me at On The Border. He was at the corner of Southwest Parkway and Lake Park drive, waiting on the traffic to clear so he could pull out on Southwest Parkway. At the same time, a 1974 Chevy Truck was pulling off of Southwest Parkway onto Lake Park Drive when all of a sudden, his coke starting to spill over. He completely took his mind off of driving to bend over and tend to his coke. He took the turn too wide and plowed into Jeremy's brand new truck! At least Savannah wasn't in the truck and it can be fixed because the man had insurance. Thank God no one was hurt!

Just had to...

Post some pictures of my little angel as we head off to church!

Girl's Weekend in Lubbock

Can I just start off by saying how truly blessed I am to have such wonderful people in my life that I call my best friends! Lauren Hays and Jody Morris are two very special people to me. Every single year (not counting the last year when we had 3 new borns), we meet at a different location and spend a weekend shopping, catching up, and making wonderful memories together. This year was extra special! We all had one year old babies to liven up our trip! Friday, December 11th, Jody and I loaded up her SUV, and headed off to Lubbock, Texas to meet Lauren and Bryn for a fun time at the Santa Land/Annual girl's weekend! We arrived at our 3 1/2 star (not so much) hotel. Lauren and Bryn still had a couple of hours to go before they arrived, so Jody and I took the girls to Chick Fil A! Talk about a fun dinner! Savannah and Maycie managed to keep all of the elderly couples entertained! A couple of hours later, we all arrived at our hotel. Being the cool Aunt Crickle that I am, I supplied the girls with their first form of entertainment of the trip...ICE CREAM! Savannah takin' a little Ice Cream break on her friend. Maycie LOVIN' her some Ice Cream! Thank you MOM! Big girl bite! Cutest picture ever!
Lauren spilled milk in Savannah's hair trying to steal a hug from her, so she needed a bath. Of course, the other girls wanted to join in on the fun!
Bath time is always fun until someone (not mentioning any names), poops in the tub!
The Ice Cream obviously didn't set well on Bryn's little tummy!
Savannah's first time to try custard.
Crystal's first time to try custard...thanks Jessica!
Savannah just happened to be "booty dancing" to Silent Night!
Maycie was amazed at the fact that dogs could order custard!
We had to cage these crazy girls in!
Happy to be together! BFF!
Love these girls! Best friends holding best friends!
Finally arrived at the Santa Land in their new matching Christmas outfits. Thanks Maycie!
Savannah hugging Aunt Jo Jo and MayME.
Didn't really appreciate Santa Claus.
Mrs. Claus is a little better, but not much! Thank you girls for the fun weekend! I will always cherish and look forward to our special weekend in December! Can't wait for 2010? Where to go...where to go??

Christmas Family Photos...part two

For Thanksgiving, our brother and sister in law came in town all the way from Lacey, Washington. We were able to spare a few minutes to head out to Lucy park to take some Johnson family photos from the wonderful and VERY talented Misty Doyle at www.uniqueimagesbymisty.com. This caused me to have to have to buy her and myself two Christmas outfits...darn!
Thanks Misty for the great photo shoot!
