From the Mouth of a Babe!

This is such an old picture, but when describing the crazy things Savannah says sometimes, I thought I would bring out this crazy picture!

Savannah has always been a talker, but here recently, she has taken her conversations to the next level!
I thought that I would start documenting the things that she says. Here they go...

1.  Dad. Can you give me a favor?
2.  Mom can we do the Easter Jesus Cooking Activia again?
3.  Mom, Can you give me a favor? Sure, what do you need? Can you put Pappa's boat in the garage for me? I want it to be safe.
4.  Mom and Dad? Yes, Nanna. I have to tell you something important. At this point, Jeremy spotted someone driving and told me who it was. She said, "Daaadddd, you talked during my importance!
5. Mom, there is a baby in my belly now. Um....excuse me? I hope she is just wanting to be like Jackie!
6. Jen Jen. Yes baby? I love you as much as Jesus loves me.
7. God bless Momma, God bless Dadda, God bless Pappa's boat. Amen.

First Fish!

Sunday night, we went to drop a load off at Mom and Dad's house. Before I knew it, Savannah had persuaded Pa to go get her tackle box and fishing pole (an ugly stick) and they were off to the tank to go fishing!
She never left my dad's side. The funniest thing was when Dad would walk to another area and she didn't realize he had moved to a different spot and she would say, "ugghhh...Pa, don't leave me". So funny!

She caught her first fish!! I was clear across the lake using my cell phone so the picture is blurry!
Fish #1
As dad was helping her reel the fish in, she said, "don't get the fish closer to me!" hahaha! Like mother like daughter!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Maycie!!

This past weekend was Maycie's 3rd birthday! Lauren and Bryn always come in for the party, so it makes for a SUPER fun weekend for us all! Happy 3rd birthday, Maycie! We love you!
Bryn, Maycie, and Savannah. Best friends forever!!
This is the ONLY picture I got from the whole weekend. My camera broke! Ughhh... Oh well, what a great picture!

How Great Thou Art!

Ok. I have actually been signed up for the art class 5 times. Regretfully, I have had to cancel 4 out of the 5 times! I finally had the opportunity to attend one of the art classes put on by the fabulous Rachel Lyles this past Friday night! To say I had a blast is a complete understatement! Can NOT wait for my next class!
This particular class, we were painting self portraits! I am in LOVE with my painting! I can not wait to get it framed!

TLC Splash Day / Graduation Day!

TLC really went out with a bang this school year! The girls were asked to come to school in their bathing suits prepared for a splash day/graduation day!
The Tuesday / Thursday girls!
Charlie, Ezra, Savannah, Lainey, and Lavinia.
The girls about to head out to their splash day!
So excited I got to be a part of such a bittersweet day! Fun splash day but sad that we were saying bye to Alisha and Laretta :(
Thanks Alisha for being a WONDERFUL teacher and thank you so much for the wonderful year books that you created for each child! I will truly cherish that forever!

Home away from Home!

For the next 4 months or so, this will be our new home! So grateful to Pappa and Grandy for allowing us to live in their RV and have no house payment or bills!

Gymnastics

Savannah has far exceeded my expectations on if she would enjoy gymnastics or not? She even practices at home! Thanks to the gymnastics mat that my dad got her, she is able to perfect her forward and backward roll!

Lake Arrowhead Fun!

Grandy and Pappa came down from Paducah to Lake Arrowhead with their RV this past weekend! I had no idea how much my little girl would LOVE the lake, LOVE the boat, and LOVE fishing!
My little out-doorsy girl. Obviously didn't get that quality from me!
They had just got back in from checking the "jugs".
Saying hi to Aunt Jacksie's fish that she caught.
Me and my little buddy!

On a side note. Tonight, we finished reading our little toddler bible. We read the very last story in the bible tonight, which was "Jesus is coming back one day". The point of the story is that Jesus is coming back one day and when he does, if you believe and trust in Jesus, you will go to Heaven with him. I asked Savannah if she was excited about this and she said, "YES!" Then, I asked her what she thinks Heaven will be like and I am humbled by her two year old answer.
Me: What will Heaven be like one day?
Savannah: There will be candy, lollipops, new Arial toothbrushes, and Pappa's boat! Ha! I love it!

Third Annual Girlfriend's Garage Sale!

This past Friday, we had our third annual girlfriend's garage sale! Great time had by all, but MAN was I tired when all was said and done!
Here is a preview shot of my garage.
While the garage sale was going on, I decided to help Jodi with the garage sale day care that was going on inside. This is what happens when myself and Jodi are really tired! We start dressing Katelyn and the kids up like divas!
Can I just say that these two girls are ALL STARS at the cash register! Thanks for all you girls do!

Mother's Day 2011

As I get older, Mother's Day has become one of my favorite days! I mean, why not? A whole day spent with your baby while being rewarded for being a Mom!
The reason I LOVE this day!

Fresh Beat Band!

Showing Aunt Toodie and Phoobie the 2 year old rave....Fresh Beat Band!

Potty Breaks!

Right before bed, we have to make a good 500 rounds to the potty to make sure that every single baby has gone potty. Is it just me or does this girl know how to stall?

Dentist Visit #3

She is showing me how she is going to be a really good girl and open her mouth up wide and I am acting like Alyssa.
Always a good time for a photo op!
We are both so happy because Savannah opened up her mouth wide for Alyssa! She gets to get a ball, get a snow cone, and go to the park! Long list I know, but I wanted her to open her mouth! Savannah has all of her teeth and is not expected to get another tooth until she is 6.

SOLD!

....and we have to be out of our house completely on May 25th. To be continued...

What are we going to do with her?

Is that a thermometer pacifier in her mouth and a tiara on her head? Why, yes it is! Apparently, when we think that she is asleep and she is actually searching around in her drawers finding these random thermometer pacis.
What are we going to do with this girl?

May 1, 2011!

Osama Bin Laden is DEAD!
This is such a wonderful day for America! I wanted this day to be marked down in our family blog!

Packing...

On Saturday, we loaded up our first room in our effort to move out of our house by May 25th! Ahhh!

Date Night Drama!

Jodi and I decided to take the girls on a movie date to see Rio and then to eat.
Savannah and I lovin' our 3D glasses!
We had such a FUN night planned until....I get a call from Mamma letting me know that she just talked to Mom and they were just told that a fire is headed their way and they needed to evacuate! Thank the Lord for my good friend Jodi willing to take one for them team and stay there with both girls by herself! I immediately called Jeremy and we were on our way to see what we could do! When I arrived on Sisk Road, the State Troopers had the road blocked off and were only allowing residents of Sisk Road to enter. They let me know that I needed to inform my parents to get there stuff and evacuate! Talk about shocker news! We then started loading 16 horses and hauling them off. We then proceeded to unload Mom and Dad's entire house! Long story short, tons of people started praying for a miracle and suddenly the wind died down and the fire fighters to able to contain the fire! Praise the Lord!
