What's been going on...

A WHOLE lot of everything is what has been going on in the Johnson Home! From being the wedding coordinator for TWO weddings just months away, getting our house ready to sell, actually trying to sell our house, and sending out all of the 1099's for work by today's deadline....I am "pooped" as Elmo would say! I would say that this is my "random" blog. Just a bunch of sweet nothings! She received a whole assortment of clothes from Granna the other day! She calls this particular dress her "snake" dress. She looks like a miniature teenager! Thank GOODNESS for the one random beautiful day that we had! We were able to go out to Mamma and Pa's house and remember what the sun was! Janis Joplin look alike!
Jenny Wright look alike! She has started taking all of the accessories off of my body and leaving me with nothing!
Savannah LOVES her aunt Jen Jen....without a doubt!
Can I just say that I am VERY blessed with a little girl that will constantly do random things and come up to me and say "Mommy, picture please!" How lucky am I?!?!
Last Thursday, I spent the whole day with Judy Cookingham and Cindy King at the Dallas Market. We were getting all of the necessary supplies ready for Elizabeth Mowrey's wedding! What a fun day! Thheeennn...I come home and Jeremy had already put Savannah to bed...in her Minnie Mouse costume!! Does she have him wrapped around his finger...or what?
The picture isn't focused very well because we are doing the self timer. I don't know what I did for the 25 years without her in my life! It's good to have my little side kick at my side now!
The other day, I was watching my wedding video trying to make a list of all of the wedding supplies I had that my dad made for me, that I could loan out/rent out to brides. Well, craziest thing happened, Savannah could NOT understand why her mommy was in a "princess dress" and she wasn't in the "movie" with her mommy and daddy. She literally made me go in her room and put on her Minnie Mouse costume because she said that that was her princess dress. Then she proceeded to ask me if she could "get in the movie with us." HOW DO YOU RESPOND TO THAT! You get on Ebay and buy her a toddler wedding dress! She LOVES it and wears it 24/7! Although, now it is really creepy when she says "Mommy, I want to put on my wedding dress." I am definitely not ready for that...probably won't ever be!
The sweet little wedding dress came with a toddler veil! This will make for a GREAT picture in her wedding video!
Another recent hobby of hers is to put her baby to bed. She says, "Baby, you need sleep!" Then, she will make her out a bed too. She looks over at her baby and scolds them by saying, "Close your eyes!" or my personal favorite "If you go to sleep, you get cone cone in the morning!" Bahahaha! She is a never ending trip...that's for sure!
Last but not least, I haven't ever jumped on the "smocked bandwagon" that everyone seems to be on. Not that everyone's little girls aren't absolutely precious in the smocked outfits, I just haven't ever purchased one for Savannah. I am more of a buy my daughter teeny bopper outfits in toddler sizes! Leopard, zebra print, fuchsia pink, tie-dye, skinny jeans, leggings, jeggings, lace, cowboy boots, and dresses of any kind! With all of that being said, ZULILY (my absolute favorite Internet shopping store) had all of their smocked dresses on sale. I decided to go for it and jump on the bandwagon and order Savannah a dress. I LOVE IT! I totally get what the hype is all about! She is a precious angel in this outfit!

Yup! You read that correctly!! The Johnsons are officially moving out of our house (tear) that we have owned for SIX years and moving to another location! We are currently in contract on a new house and now, we are just waiting for the new owners of our current home to come claim their prize!!! Couple of pictures of the living room! Living room pictures looking into the third bedroom. Living room shot. Living room and dining room shot. Here is a picture of the living room looking down the hallway into the house. The kitchen is VERY, VERY long! This is one of the millions of things that I LOVE about the house!
Brand new floors added in the kitchen and the guest bathroom.
Talk about tearing up even writing about this! This is Savannah's room! This would be the ultimate princess room for anyone!

Last but not least! After many, many months, we finally have our new room "the carpet room" added on!!! When the carpet was installed, Savannah immediately started referring to the room as her carpet room! This will be one of the details about this house that I will truly miss! Ever since we added the game room/den on, it has brought nothing buy joy to her life!
VERY Spacious room for just about....anything!

Savannah and Jen Jen.

While Mom, Dad, Jeremy and I were busy fixing the house up, Jenny came by to hang out with Savannah! This is what happens when these two are left alone for a few minutes...

Pageants

No, No. I am not signing Savannah up for the toddlers and tiara show, but her aunt Jenny thinks that it is fun dress her up like she is a pageant girl!

Getting Ready for the Big Move!

In preparation for the selling of our house, Jeremy had tons of work to do in the garage clearing everything out. This particular night, he had a small helper. When I walked out in the garage, this is what I found!

Hayden's Birthday Party!

We were invited to Hayden's birthday party at the Aquatic Wellness Center last Saturday! Picture courtesy of Stephanie Jones. Loved it! She looks so old though. The kids were having a great time swimming!

Morgan Burrough's birthday!

Another great night at Chuck E. Cheese for Morgan's birthday party! Thanks for the invite!! So excited Jude and Ezra were there as well! I couldn't believe that she was actually interacting with Chuck E. Cheese!!! They were high fiving!
A hug?? Really?? I couldn't believe it!
Then the kids had a great time doing the hokey pokey with Chuck E. Cheese!
This picture is hilarious!! The birthday girl in the ticket booth!
