Scooting and Crawling...oh my!

On April 22, 2009, Savannah and I were sitting in her floor playing with toys. Well, out of NO WHERE, she leans over and props herself up on all fours. Then, she starts rocking back and forth. I was like...where did you learn this? I was in shock! Then...after a couple of days of doing this, she has managed to move both hands and appear to be trying to move her leg to begin crawling, but takes a nose dive when the leg moves! After the nose dive, she starts army crawling in circles and ends up moving backwards.

It's crazy how each day brings you something new! I love watching her learn new things! I love her funny "O" shaped mouth she makes all the time now when she gets excited, I love how she makes her lips in a kissy/fish looking face, I love how she is clingy towards me and acts like I am her favorite person on earth, and most especially, I love how she is starting to hug my neck and put her head on my shoulder.

Man, could life get any better than this....nah!!!

First Easter!

It was wet and cold outside, so we decided to have Savannah's first Easter egg hunt in the house. Jeremy hid the eggs (around her body as she was sitting on the floor) and she found the eggs and we taught her to put them in her Easter basket (Thanks for the basket Granna & Poppy). It was so cute! First, find the egg. Second, put the egg in our mouth. Third, put it in the basket! As long as we kept her mind on the eggs, she forgot that her crazy mom had ears on her head! Holidays are so much fun now!

Good Friday

I can't stop thinking about how lucky we are that Jesus sacrificed his life for us by dying on the cross for our sins. I guess I am even more thankful this year because Savannah has shown me how grateful I am to have Jesus in my life. He has blessed me beyond measures! On this Good Friday, I hope everyone realizes that there is so much in your life to be thankful for!

6 MONTHS

Today, we are 6 months old! I can't believe it! I know I say that every month, but really...I can't believe how fast she is growing up! I mean, half a year old! From sitting up, to noticing Emma and loving her, to getting upset when I walk out the door, she has been such a joy to my life! Our monthly pink chair pics...!
Taking a picture break! hahaha

Beautiful weather!!

We are LOVING the weather! This week, she has learned what grass feels like and most importantly what an outside swing is! She loved it! After bible study this week, we decided to make use of Anne and Shad's swing outside! Looks like the Johnsons are going to have to invest in their own swing!

Aunt Jen Jen's prom!

Today, we all went down to the Wichita Club to take pictures of Aunt Jen Jen's senior prom!
She looked BEAUTIFUL!!!! For a date...please email me at KRISTAL100@aol.com. j/k Jen!

Disneyland in Wichita Falls

On Sunday, thanks to the Chi Omega sorority, two girls, one with a brain tumor and her identical twin are being sent to Disneyland!
The Chi Omegas transformed the Museum into a mock Disneyland to prepare the girls for their trip and to make the little girl with the brain tumor feel special. Cinderella, clowns, MSU cheerleaders, all came to visit! Savannah had the opportunity to meet Cinderella!
