The day is FINALLY here!!!
We are leaving out of here REALLY early in the morning to go meet our twinkies! I am over the top excited!!!
At this point, I am really thankful that Lori is my doctor. I am not enjoying the c-section AT all! Its one thing to get an epidural when you are at a 6 and in so much pain, but it's another thing to get an epidural when you are in NO pain! Then, you lay there feeling all of these really weird things happening to you while you are spread eagle on an operating table while there are a million people around you while you are on display! :)
And then it happened....seconds later, I saw my baby boy and he started crying and that was the 2nd most beautiful sight and sound that I have ever heard in my whole life...
And just when you think it can't get any better, I saw the third most beautiful baby in the world and heard the 3rd most beautiful crying sound come out of her sweet little body!!
ALL IS WELL IN THE WORLD AT THIS MOMENT!!
One proud Dad right there!! Natalie weighed in at 5 lbs 9 oz. She was perfect.
Mason weighed in at 5 lbs 15 oz. He was perfect, but he wasn't breathing well on his own. They immediately took my sweet baby boy to the NICU unit.
Good thing I had this sweet little girl to take my mind off of the fact that they just took my baby boy away. Luckily for me, in Fort Worth, even if you have a c-section, you still get to have some skin-on-skin time with your baby immediately after birth. She was SO little and SO precious!
I am in love.
Big sister's first glance at her new little sister!
After a super hard year for this guy, this was a really special moment for him.
Sweet little Mason was having some trouble, so they kept him in the NICU unit for a week. I'm not going to complain because, from what I understand, with twins, you can spend way more time there and we only had to spend a week!
Every 3 hours, I walked a mile from our room to his room in the NICU unit to feed him myself. Sometimes, they had to feed him with this feeding tube because my milk had not come in yet and he was starting to lose some weight. So sad! :( I will never forget how many times they pricked his foot and the feeling I felt waiting on them to tell me if his levels had come up or not.
Back down at our room, big sister was on cloud 9. Savannah has been praying for this day to come for 3 years!
She was a natural!
I pray that they are best friends forever!
Sweet baby was struggling to keep his weight up, keeping his counts up, and his body temperature was very low.
Baby A - Mason Robert Johnson
Baby B - Natalie Grace Johnson
Couldn't stop staring at his new little baby girl.
The BEST friends came to see my new babies...all the way from Wichita Falls to Fort Worth.

She is perfect.
Even with his feeding tube, he is perfect.
Proud Aunt Jacksie.
Proud Aunt Jen Jen.
We got to watch Natalie get her hearing test done.
She can hear!
My baby girl in one of the only outfits we had that was warm enough and fit her.
We ended up having to stay a week because of the snow storm and Mason being kept in the NICU unit. This girl decided she wanted to stay the whole week with us. She was the absolute best child on the planet considering we never left the hospital and rarely left the room. She didn't care what the situation was, she did NOT want to leave her new brother and sister.
Wow...you really can love another girl as much as the first??
All week long, I was soooo worried that the twins weren't going to bond considering they were separated right at birth. I mean, they have known each other since petri dish, embryo formation at the fertility clinic and the whole 8 months stuffed in my belly.
After 3 years of waiting for this day, this is the most beautiful sight I have ever seen.
Holding hands. This could be the 2nd most beautiful sight I have ever seen!
Our first family picture as the Johnson Party of Five!
I have a son?!? Wow...what a blessing!
After a week of being in the hospital, we finally got released!!! The weather was AWFUL! Jeremy white knuckled it the WHOLE way home from Ft. Worth. We had to stop in Decatur and get Savannah food and I fed both babies in McDonalds parking lot. My baby girl loaded up in the car seat on the ride home.
OHHH MYYY GOODNESSSS they are precious!
Look at this proud Daddy carrying his babies in their new home for the first time!
This guy has never had a boy in his life, shocker who he is feeding first!? :)
Holding Pa's finger while he eats.
Proud Aunt Jen Jen!
Proud Aunt Jacksie!
Sleeping in the pack and play together for their first night in their new house! Life on Southfork could NOT be any better right now. Seriously, I couldn't be ANY more blessed than I am!
