PONYTAILS!
Today was our first official day that we were able to put our hair in a ponytail! I LOVE it! How precious is that...seriously?? Look at those sweet little rolls on her neck!

Blog book purchased and received!
One of the main reasons of blogging, in my opinion, is to have a blog book printed for a keepsake gift for your child. I had every intention of giving Savannah her blog book in October of her first year of life for her first birthday.
Problem #1, the site I used will only publish your blog into a book if you have 1000 pictures or less. Considering I had 1,079 pictures (shocker, I know), they wouldn't print my book. I put this devastating problem off for a couple of months and finally came back to it a couple of weeks ago. I fixed the problem as painlessly as possible. I simply changed the date of the Washington pictures to the next year. So, for her second book, she will be getting the Washington pictures, which makes complete sense anyways. I only wanted the first book to be October 4, 2008 to October 4, 2009. Considering we went to Washington after October 4th, it worked out perfect!
Anyways, the pdf version of my book, which was a complete blessing that they offered this because earlier this year my computer crashed, so now I have all of the lost pictures! All in all, the book came out to be about 224 pages.
We received our blog book in the mail today and I couldn't be happier!! I would like to thank everyone that left us comments over the past year on our blog. The comments were printed with the individual entries! It is extra special when you have such kind words from friends and family to keep and cherish forever!

Happy Valentine's Day
Savannah's Valentines present arrived today. Yup, I couldn't wait. I went ahead and gave it to her. Considering it was a rainy, icy, windy, cold day, I figured she needed something new and fun to play with. I ordered her some refrigerator magnets off of Etsy.com. I love them! They are recycled Coca - Cola cans made into Alphabet magnets. She has played with them for hours now. Although we have already lost the "O", it's not that big of a deal because they were very inexpensive! Thanks Etsy.com!
New Floors!
This past Monday, we installed new floors in the bathroom and kitchen. It only took me 3 months to finally decide on which option we liked. Good things come to those who wait because we LOVE the floors! I forgot to take some before pictures, so I had to go back through my pictures and find some random pictures of the previous (laminate) floor. There are some before (laminate) pictures and some after pictures of the new floor. Hope you like!

Whole new meaning to grocery shopping!
Tonight, we loaded up and went to the grocery store! Most of you would normally go without your children. Not I! We loaded up her shopping cart and headed over to United for some FUN grocery shopping! This was a trip! If you haven't done this yet, I would definitely recommend purchasing a $10 shopping cart for your child at Walmart and doing a supermarket sweep together! She made it around the whole store and was even upset when it was time for us to go. Next adventure...taking her baby stroller with a baby in it and heading to the mall. Anyone wanna join?
Wanting her dada to catch up with her.
Deciding which tub of butter she needs?
Turning the aisle like a big girl!
Chatty Cathy had to stop along the way to socialize with this nice lady.
We finish the trip with our basket full and hers only having some spaghetti making box and a can of soup...both of which she probably wouldn't touch! SUPER fun shopping trip!
PIZZAAAA!!!
I guess the saying is true... "Your child will eat if they are around other children". Remember my previous blogs about how Miss Savannah never eats? Well, tonight we were at the Brown/Muehlberger's house and low and behold, when she was around other children, she ate TWO pieces of pizza! Now, for all of you out there in blog world that are saying, "Pizza, that's not something to be proud of". After having a child that throws most of her meals on the ground to our dog Emma, it is REALLY nice when you set food in front of her and she actually eats it...I don't care what it is!
The three BFF's eating pizza together!

Megan showed up and took a pic with the kids.
Night time / Nap time Issues
The past few days, we have had some minor issues with any time involving sleep. Nap time isn't as bad as night time. I must say, I have done some major bragging on my little girl and I guess my bragging is catching up with me. Over the past 4 or 5 months, Savannah has been going to sleep around 8:30 and waking up at 8:30 or 9:00. That gives a mom something to brag about...right?
Well, over the past couple of days/nights, I will lay her down and peek around the corner into her room and she has kicked off her blanket, pulled her socks off, threw them over the crib to the floor, lined up every single (around 8 of them) one of her pacifiers on the edge of her crib, then throws each one of them over the edge to the ground. Then, she proceeds to sing to them and talk to them. Some nights, this has gone on for hours. Not once does she cry or go through the "cry it out" phase. All she does is sit there and play with her "pappys", rock her babies to sleep, and sing. Last night I let her go as long as I could and two hours later, I finally went in there and picked her up.
Tonight is actually the first night in a couple of nights that I have actually laid her down and she has fallen asleep like normal. Some have told me that if a happy baby like Savannah that loves life and loves her toys might be too stimulated to be able to lay down and go to bed. Well, that is nothing to complain about...I don't guess. Others, ok...just Jeremy, would say that she is not going to be at night because she knows that her mom has been going in there and getting her out of bed lately to rock her, play with her again, or read her some more books. I guess I am the one that should be in trouble. Ok, Ok, it was wrong...but I STILL don't regret it!
Snuck in during nap time and took a picture of the "pappy" line-up!
After she lines them up, there they go, over the edge!

Chuck E. CHHHHEEEESSSEEE please!
Yesterday, Aunt Jen Jen came and picked Savannah up and took her to Chuck E. Cheese to use some of the coins that she got her for Christmas. Here are a few pics from the outing. So thankful for sisters that LOVE my baby as much as I do...ok, maybe not that much! That's impossible!

200th POST! W-O-W!!
Paige's Baby Shower
Today, I got the opportunity to be a hostess at my very good friend's baby shower! Paige Martinez is expecting a baby girl (Jaelyn Ashley Martinez) on February 22nd. Looks like Jaelyn has decided to come a little early http://babymartinez2010.blogspot.com/ because Paige is scheduled to be induced on February 16th and as of right now, she is already dilated to a 2! Come on Jaelyn!!
The shower was a complete success! We had such a great time!
Prego Paige and I right before the shower began!
The awesome diaper cake with 130 diapers that I made for Paige and Jaelyn.
Another view of the diaper cake. I'm so proud of it!
Clothes line full of baby clothes for Jaelyn.
Super cute! Made by Julie.
The best friends ever!
Rainbows
There was the most beautiful, well-defined rainbow I have ever seen today in Falls Town. I absolutely LOVE rainbows. They literally bring a smile to your face and let you know that everything is going to be OK!
With every rainbow, there is usually rain and thunder. Today just happened to be one of Savannah's very first encounters with a thunderstorm. She was busy playing in Pa and Mamma's living room floor, when all of a sudden a a loud moment of thunder filled the room. Savannah instantly threw the keys she was holding and made the most horrible face and jumped up in my arms for safety. Needless to say, it was scary for her but VERY funny for me!
LOL - Laugh Out Loud!
Last night, I was having major Savannah withdrawals. So....I might have got her up out of her bed after two hours of sleeping to play with her. I know, I know, most of you are trying to look up CPS's number as we speak (or read), but it was so worth it!
We read books, cuddled on the bed, and most importantly filmed her laughing so hard! I was acting like I was closing her hand in the book and for some reason it was the funniest thing she has ever seen! She was laughing so hard! Shortly after, I layed her down in her bed and she fell right to sleep. Such a good baby! Memories were made and I don't regret a minute of it! haha!

Thoughts...
Since this is MY blog, I feel that I can write about anything and everything that is on my heart. So...here goes.
I have always had a close relationship with God, but...here recently, my relationship with my family, friends, and most importantly my God has been something I think about a lot. I don't know if someones death or the idea of death makes me think about my relationships more or if I am just at that point in my life where this is very important to me.
Here lately, I have had such a burning desire for everyone to know God and have that close relationship with him that I have. I don't claim to be the most biblical/spiritual person you will ever meet, but daily, I strive to be better than I was the day before.
The whole idea of all of my friends and family forming a deeper relationship with God has suddenly became very important to me. Sometimes I feel like a complete failure. I want to reach so many people, but the ideas of the "world" seem to over-power me half the time.
Like I said, I have no idea why this is weighing so heavily on my heart here lately or why I am even blogging about it? All I know is, that I know that I know that when my head hits my pillow to night that if I should die before I wake, I will wake up in a place called Heaven, a place far greater than the human mind can even imagine.

Beautiful weather
Today, the weather was BEAUTIFUL! We spent many hours outside today. From riding around in the Barbie car, rounding up pecans, going to the park, and running to Michael and Sara Jane's house every chance she could...we had a GREAT day!
Loves the slide.
She could not stop digging in the dirt. The girl definitely needs a sand box.
About to fall out of the swing.
Cattle Sale
My dad has recently become a " cattle farmer". I don't really know if you would call it that, but he has invested in some cattle, a bull, and a donkey. So, long story short (with a little of the story that I don't understand enough to tell about) his cattle made some babies that he took to the sale on Wednesday on the outside of town.
Savannah, of course, had to dress the part for her very first cattle sale. I decked her out in her super cute pink boots and we were ready to go! Dad did good at the sale! I definitely recommend each of you taking your kids on a little adventure one Wednesday to the cow sale!
Waiting on Mamma and Pa to arrive to take us to the cow sale!
Sooo excited when they pulled up!
She would point and wave at the cows everytime they walked in.
Thought this sign was REALLY funny. It says..."Cattle must be P.O'ed before they leave the ring. After cattle leave the ring, they belong to the buyer." Really, cattle must be P.O.'ed? hmm?
