More CHRISTMAS!
CHRISTMAS TIME!
Here's how it all goes down... We head to a....um....Christmas Eve....service....somewhere. Then, we make our way out Mom and Dad's house. Then, the festivities begin!
For part of Jeremy's Christmas present this year, I had a deep dish pizza flown in all the way from Chicago! Boy was he excited!
Now, time for our annual sisters + 1 matching pajamas photo shoot!
Found these cute things last minute at Walmart!
Savannah LOVES her new red dress up shoes.
We got Michael W. Smith to sign a cd that said "Merry Christmas, Mom Love, Michael W. Smith."
Jackie got some new boots!
All of us chipped in and bought Dad a deer target for Christmas. He lived at our house until Christmas and Savannah started calling him Little Buddy.
Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is more of her!
I took a picture of all of Savannah's toys that Santa left for her! She must have been really good this year! I didn't get a picture of what happens next because I was filming it with the video camera, but....every year, Santa Claus literally comes to my parent's house to say Hi to Savannah. This year, he told her that she had been really good! As Santa was leaving, he turned around and said, "Bye Santa" Hm...I guess he is really tired? Then, Savannah, which was holding onto my neck for dear life, looked at him and said, "Bye Santa!"
Aunt Jen Jen got her a whole set of cooking supplies with bakers hat and apron all included!
She now has her own drawer in the kitchen full of all of her supplies!
The ultimate gift! Jenny created a One Year Free Babysitter folder! I have 6 coupons for each month. A mommy's night out, date night, emergency, mommy and friends, mommy sleep in, and a weekend getaway coupon! I have to use each coupon each month, or they expire! Thanks Jenny!
I got Savannah a gown and a matching gown for her baby doll at Zulily.com.
Both her gown and the baby's gown were only 12 dollars.
UPS Mini Me
Jason, Lauren, and Luke got Savannah a UPS costume for Christmas! Considering my dad has been a UPS man for 26 years, this was the PERFECT gift for her!
Someone feels real sassy in her new outfit!
Adjusting the hat just right!
We put this outfit on after we had Christmas with Jason and Lauren. The time was around 9:00 at night. Considering she looked sooo dang cute, I just couldn't take it off of her without going to find my dad and show him. After calling and finding out that he was at Academy, I decided to load her up (even though it was clearly bedtime) and go find him. We walked into Academy and everyone was having a fit over this munchkin UPS person. We walked and walked until we spotted my Mom and Dad. I hid behind the aisle and sent her running over to them. They turned around and saw her and stood with a blank look on their face. Her hat was covering her face a little and you couldn't really tell that it was her, so it looked like a miniature UPS wee person was coming after them. Then she yelled out, "Pa and Mamma." Then it dawned on them that is was Savannah and they just had a fit!
Jason, Lauren, & Luke.
This Christmas, Uncle Jason, Aunt Lauren, and "baby Luke" came to Wichita Falls to spend a couple of days with us for Christmas!
Night #1
Savannah and Luke had such a good time together. Such a shame they live clear across the country from each other!
First stop. On the Border! Savannah really loves her aunt Lo Lo! I had a bag full of snacks for her and Lauren had a bag full of snacks. Funny thing, she didn't want a thing to do with my snacks. Lauren's snacks were way better!
Day #2
While I was at work, Gayle, Jason, Lauren, and Luke came over and played with Savannah. Thanks guys for helping me out!
Night #2
This is the best we could do getting the kids picture made together!
Uncle Jason is so much fun!
The Johnson boys were trying to beat my all time high! Jason donated tons of tokens all night to the machine until he finally beat my record!
Paula Deen, Junior
One thing I know for sure is, the girl LOVES to cook! I don't care if she is stirring water and salt in a bowl or actually mixing actual ingredients in a bowl with an actual mixer, she is perfectly content! Over the holidays, we made all types of different dishes together!
Gingerbread house.
All I did in this whole project was pour the ingredients in the bowl. She literally decorated the whole gingerbread house all by herself!
Finished product! She did SUCH a good job! She was so proud of her gingerbread house, that we decided to take it to mom and dad's house on Christmas Eve! She wanted to carry it in all by herself. We were walking into the house and her foot tripped over the step and she fell right on top of her gingerbread house. Saddest thing ever! Thankfully, Pa (my dad) worked really hard and in a matter of minutes, the gingerbread house was just like new...with a few cracks.
The beginning stages of our reindeer cookies! She LOVED this particular project!
