I used to think that Valentines was just a "dating holiday" and a day that Hallmark can make a ton of money...until this year! I'm usually not the "cheesy" type, but I am going to have to go extra sappy on this blog! Can I just start off by saying that Valentine's Day 2011 will go down as one of the best nights of my life! Jeremy always treats me wonderfully on holidays, but this holiday was extra special!

To start the day off, Jeremy went and bought me a dozen roses from him and Savannah from my best friend's flower shop, The Basketcase! First of all, I loved the flowers, but more importantly, I am so happy (without any coaching, I might add) that he supported one of my friend's businesses because he knew that would make me happy!

The flowers were delivered to my work. Crazy that flowers that will end up dying in a couple of days could make me so happy! When Jeremy got home from work, he handed me a very thick Valentine's Card! In the card was enough $1.00 bills to buy my plane ticket to Los Angeles for my 30th birthday next year! I almost fell off the couch! I can't believe that he had planned something like that for me, much less saved enough money to buy my ticket! Then, we continued our night at The Pelican, which was the best meal I have had in a while! Thanks to the best inlaws ever for giving us money to go eat and to the movies! To finish things off, we went to see the new Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler movie. A DEFINITE must see!

Then, once I got home and nap time was over, I informed Savannah that she had a date tonight with Aunt Jen Jen. She automatically went into overdrive, happy mode! She started saying that her and Aunt Jen Jen were "going somewhere SPECIAL tonight. We're going to Dallas". Where she got that, I have no idea! She then went to the bathroom and started putting on her makeup. I walked in and this is what I found....(picture above).

Jen took her to the mall, then to see Yogi Bear, and then something to eat!

When we got home from the movies, I walked in and Savannah and I had roses from my dad and she had a heart shaped tub full of chocolates and a balloon attached! To top things off, my dad fixed some trim that needed fixing. Yes, I do have the BEST DAD EVER! Then, I look over and see a cake holder Tupperware from Mom with a card and money inside! Yes, I do have the BEST MOM EVER!
To everyone involved, thank you so much for all the kind LOVE gestures today! Much appreciated!
