Gaylord Texan Friend's Trip 2013

We loaded the kids up and took them to the Gaylord Texan. We were excited to find out that we were there at the same time as the Friday night fireworks.
A DJ and fireworks means some major dancing for the kids!
Later on, back at the hotel, the girls were so excited about getting their American Girl Dolls ready for bed!

Fourth of July

This Fourth of July was a little crazy. Jeremy had just had his second surgery. So, we got invited over to David and Ambers for a fun cookout and the girls and the kids left for the fireworks after the cookout!
Of course, we needed to have a photo shoot of these cute girls!
Hayden jumped in on the photo shooting fun and he came up with some photo props.
We were so excited to get to the MPEC and see the Crutchers!
and Jen Jen!
2 of my favorite girls!
My sistas from the same mista! Love these girls!

As we are working through test result after test result, Jeremy decided he wanted to take Savannah fishing to clear his mind a little bit. She absolutely loves fishing with her Daddy.

Twins Announcement

I hate to admit it, but regretfully, I wasn't as excited about the idea of "twins" as I should have been. I don't know why I struggled with the idea at first so much. I would hope that it was just the first trimester hormones. Then, as I have posted before, I went to my very last doctor's appointment at the fertility clinic. The appointment did wonders for me. There were couples coming in that were so hopeful they could get pregnant and there I was with two babies in my belly. I was suddenly having a much needed change of heart! This was going to be ok! After that appointment, I knew that there was something we had to do...tell Savannah!
So, we got home from the appointment with the sonogram pictures and a gift for Savannah from the Disney store, from the "babies" in hand. We told Savannah that we had something to tell her and I pulled out the pictures of the babies and we told her that she was going to be a big sister! She immediately started talking ninety to nothing. She was over the top excited!
She immediately got my phone and started calling EVERYONE she could think of to let them know that there are TWO babies in my belly! That night was one of the highlights of my whole entire life! Seeing the excitement on her face was just what I needed to realize that everything was going to be ok and I was still going to have time for Savannah!
After we told Savannah, I was on such a high that I decided to post the news on facebook!
I posted...
We have been praying for 2 1/2 years for another baby. Not only did God decide to answer our prayers but He also decided to doubly bless us!!!

Johnson party of 5 coming this November! Stay tuned!!

Now, thankfully, after all the encouragement, I am not as scared about having twins as I was before. I'm thinking that I was just scared about having two because that was double the chance that something could go wrong. I have given everything over to God and He has made sure everything is ok with these two babies!

Walt Disney World 2013

Our Disney Vacation this year is definitely a trip to remember. Not only did we have the best time ever, but it was the last time we had zero drama in our lives before everything started happening...
The plane ride was a breeze with this one. Give her an IPad with some movies and she is great. As for her Dad, as you can see, he is out before we even take off...
First things first, we need to put our princess dress on that I have been carrying the whole day just in case our bags got lost. Don't worry about prenatal vitamins, thyroid medicine, or even clean panties as long as we have the princess dress! haha.
For a 4 year old that is obsessed with Arial, our hotel was a dream come true. Look how tall that statue actually is!
Our annual palm tree picture.
Now, for the highlight of the trip. The Bippity Boppity Boutique!
She feels like a million dollars right here!
After getting glammed up at the boutique, we went to the 3:00 parade.
The we made our way over to Crystal's palace for our first character dinner!
This is one happy little girl!
I just can't explain how magical it is looking at this castle in person!
The newest thing at Walt Disney World is Fantasyland. We definitely spent a LOT of time there!
Our first stop was Belle's house where Savannah was chosen to be Phillipe the horse. I couldn't believe that she actually followed through with this because, normally, unless she is in her element, she chickens out!
At the end of the show, you get your picture made with Belle!
Mickey and Savannah
Rapunzel
Cinderella
The next day, first thing in the morning, we made our way over to the Grand Floridian for our next character dining! We kinda like the character dinings if you haven't noticed!
The Mad Hatter
Mary Poppins...how cool!
Alice in Wonderland
Snow White
The holy grail of all princesses in her book...Arial.
We got to visit with the Stepmother and the Ugly Stepsisters. Savannah let them know that she didn't like how they treated Cinderella and they placed her hands like this and told her she had to take a picture like this. Savannah didn't appreciate that!
We found ourselves back at Belle's house. This time, Jeremy got picked to be the castle guard and Savannah got picked to be chip.
Jeremy is guarding the princess.
Almost looks like we rented out Disney but everyone is preparing for the parade!
Getting to experience Disney with this girl is one of the highlights of my life!
Jessie!
Kisses from Jessie
Aboo from Aladdin
The Stepmother told Savannah she needed to pick the trash off the ground since Savannah was wearing her Cinderella dress.
When a princess on a float spots your little girl and waves at her, it is magical...for the mom! :)
Getting on the train that takes you around Disney so this Pregnant Mom can rest her feet for a minute!
Now, on to the highlight of the Johnson Family trip! Chef Mickey!!!
During the dinner, loud music comes on and everyone starts waving their napkins and a parade breaks out!
I can't believe we did it, but Savannah and I waited for almost 2 hours to meet Tinkerbell and Rosetta.
More cool pictures right outside of our hotel.
Now, on to the relaxing part of our vacation. We really enjoy taking a little break, renting a car, and going to the beach on one day of our trip. Savannah is obsessed with the water and the sand!
The one thing I love is how peaceful it is. A nice breeze, Savannah playing in the sand, and the ocean.
Can't wait to go back to this magical place where there is zero drama and life is one big fairy tale!
