TLC - Summer School 2012

Last Tuesday, June 12th, was our first day of Summer School at TLC as a 3 year old. I, for one, was super excited because my really good friend Mindy Brown was going to be Savannah's teacher.
So excited about school! Oddly enough for a kid, she has really missed school for the past 3 weeks!
We walked in and found out what room we would be in for this semester.
Classmates!
Then, we went and found Miss Josie. This was Savannah and Josie's first time to be in the same school. Josie was BEYOND excited to see us!
Savannah was even more excited that her and Sara Jane would finally be in the same class together!
Savannah and Sara Jane with their teacher...also known as Sara Jane's Mom! So far, Savannah has LOVED having Mrs. Mindy (I had to train her to say Mrs. Mindy instead of just Mindy) as her teacher!

Tiny Tots Dance Recital 2012

The dance recital on June 8th definitely ranks up there as one of my proudest moments as a parent! Watching your child up on a stage showing you all of her hard work over the past year is such a special memory!
There is no doubt about it...she LOVES dancing!
Her BEST dancing bud!
The next couple of pictures are at the rehearsal the day before.
Future Miss America practice.
Special thanks to everyone that came out to support our little dancer AND bring flowers! We had so many!
She was super excited that her best friends Kate and Maycie came to watch her!

River Bend Nature Center - Critter Camp

TLC lets out for a couple of weeks before Summer School starts, so I started searching for places for Savannah to go in the meantime. Thank GOODNESS that we had these couple of weeks available or I would have probably never heard about Critter Camp. Savannah and Maycie both had a BLAST and didn't want the week to end!
The two happy campers on the first day of camp!
I had to get Savannah out of camp early on Thursday to make it to the Dance Recital practice, so I showed up during picture time.
Savannah two best friends during camp!
Their little group during camp! Huge thanks to River Bend for offering a camp for 3 year olds!

Dinosaur Exhibit

Friday night was our family date night. We started off at Fuzzy's Tacos. Ate too much...but that's a whole different blog and story...
We basically paid $40 for her to dig for dinosaur bones. She couldn't get enough of it, so Jeremy said that he was going to make her her own dino dig for our back yard!
Jerm getting in on the action. She kept saying, "Is this a good paintbrush for me to find bones?"
T-Rex...I was having Land Before Time when I was a little kid flashbacks!
She liked the baby dinosaurs.
Classic picture!!! Total framer!

Memorial Day - Lake Texoma!

Savannah left early Sunday morning for a couple of days at Lake Texoma. I stayed around so that Jeremy an I could have a Red Lobster/What to Expect When Expecting date night. I was missing my baby too much so I met up with them on Monday morning.
We meet again!
Two of Savannah's favorite people!
So far out in the lake with Aunt Jen Jen and Jakester.
Swimming in the lake ALL by herself! We are getting more courageous!
Chillin' by the shore...

Random Instagram Photos

I have become slightly obsessed with Instagram photos! So, here is a run down of my Instagram obsession...
Our pride and joy! The cutest dancer we have ever seen!
Here lately, Jeremy, Savannah and I have been spending a lot of quality date night time together. I guess the fact that life isn't going to be about "just us three" anymore is kinda making us want to spend a lot more alone time together!
I love this little curler headed little girl!
The gymnastics dynamic duo!
Reward time in the ball pit!
Katelyn came over and spent the day with us while Jodi painted Baby Caroline's room!
Aunt Jackie let Savannah paint her nails and toe nails by herself! Pretty good!
I absolutely LOVE walking in and watching her read stories to her babies!
Holding her baby tightly while she sleeps. LOVE!
Every day in the pool in our backyard = the happiest girl on the earth!
Learning our backflips at Gymnastics.
Jamie is teaching the girls back handsprings. So blessed to have the greatest teacher ever!
Every month that goes by since she was born I have thought was the best. Each month just keeps getting better and better with this little girl. Having a permanent friend by my side every day is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
