Bath time!

For the first couple of times, I needed major help for bath time! BUT...one Sunday, I got brave! Jeremy and Savannah went to church, while I stayed home and fed the whole entire time they were gone. I decided it was time I became brave and gave them a bath at the same time...BY MYSELF!
Mason is a huge fan of bath time!
Natalie had to be held up by her forehead because she liked to leap forward!

This year, Little Buddy our Elf, showed up the coolest way possible!
We randomly went to check our mail at the mailbox and this is what we found...
Look at that shocked look...

I couldn't believe I captured this picture! This is the same face she used to make when she was little.
Heee's back!!
Little Buddy was doing this best he could this year!
He made a point to let Savannah know that he loved twins!

Here we go again...

I'm going to go ahead and preface this post by saying that I kinda feel like when Jeremy and I heard the words "You are in remission", we checked out of cancer world and all was well...or so we thought.

- Jeremy had his 3 month checkup. For some reasons, the cancer markers (I'm pretty sure that is what they are called) do not pick up the cancer in Jeremy's body, so they have to do a more extensive version of detecting cancer like CT Scans and PET Scans.  Test results came back and we are still in remission. Praise the Lord!

- Six month checkup rolls around and who on Earth would forget a very important cancer checkup appointment. Oh...Jeremy Johnson would, of course! So, an appointment that should have taken place much earlier, happened a little later than should have.  But, what does that matter, there's no way cancer could come back this fast...could it??

- Jeremy went in and did blood work and a CT Scan for his 6 month check up.

Tuesday, April 29, 2014 - Jeremy received the call from Dr. Chalagala's office that they have found a spot. Jeremy called me immediately, very upset and told me the news. I was so caught off guard. I immediately called back and spoke with Jeremy's current, wonderful, angelic new nurse Shannon. She is a gift from God. She informed me that he would need to return to do a follow up PET Scan on Saturday morning at 10. She said that what they found is very rare and the fact that it came back is very rare. She told me that if there was ANYTHING I need to know, any question I needed answered, to please don't hesitate to call her.

Saturday, May 3, 2014 - Jeremy called up to Kell West and begged for another appointment time because they time they gave him, he would be missing Savannah's soccer game. He was very upset about that. They told him that if he got out to Kell West early, they could possibly fit him in. He left the house a little before 8 and arrived early enough to hopefully get in. He got called back a little before his original appointment and an hour and a half later after the PET Scan, ended up missing the soccer game. :(

Saturday, July 19, 2014 - Jeremy was ready to Rock and Roll today. He wasn't excited to start a week long week of chemo, but he was excited to be done with it (or atleast what they had originally scheduled) for good! We woke up, got him all packed up and headed to the hospital.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart!

That is EXACTLY what I think about my little family. Blessed is an understatement!
