Jo Jo!

Beth and Jessie have been going through a rough patch here lately, so we have had the opportunity to spend a little more time with Jo Jo! The day of Jessie's surgery, we kidnapped Jo Jo and brought her home with us and had a GREAT time!
I was afraid that Jo Jo would be scared of the horses. Was I wrong!
There is actually a story behind this picture. My parents went back and forth for days on what to name this baby horse. Well, as the baby got older, they noticed that this baby horse is constantly kicking and aggravating his mom. Then, it dawned on my Dad that Jo Jo and Beth are constantly going at it. So, they named this baby horse Jo Jo! hahaha! Jo Jo is petting Jo Jo the horse!
Perfect scenario. One friend wants to swing and the other one wants to push!
Then, Jeremy got home with treats for the girls! I wouldn't quit your day job and start your own balloon making business, Jerm!
We didn't have Jo Jo's swimsuit, so we had to make due!
These crazy girls spent a good half hour putting on the lipstick that Jeremy brought them!
After finally getting them to come into the house because it was dark, they let me take tons of pictures of them together!
I have been friends with Beth for 20 years now! Really cool getting to see our daughters play together!
On our way back to the hospital, Jo Jo was worn out!

Savannah and Maycie

It has been such a blessing that one of my really good friends has a daughter the same age as my daughter! I have REALLY enjoyed watching Savannah and Maycie grow up together! Savannah ADORES Maycie!
The Dads chillin' while the Mom's take a "few" pictures of the girls!
I only hope that as these girls get older, they can remain the best of friends!

This Summer, we have made an appearance at a few birthday parties!
Cutest picture ever!
Happy birthday Gigi!
Happy birthday Bryce! Savannah and Sara Jane chillin' by the edge of the pool!
Just a swingin'!
The best we could do at a group shot at Bryce's birthday!
Happy birthday Evan!
Happy Birthday Ava!

Cousins

We were invited over to swim in Jeremy's cousin's sweet pool over in Peachtree!
So many cousins, so much fun! Savannah fell in LOVE with Ghislaine!
Still to this day, she will say, "Mom, you know my friend Ghislaine?" I love it!

RANDOM SISK ROAD FUN

We are having a really good time while living on Sisk Road.
When Jeremy gets home from work....it's game time! She is beating on him, riding him, and making him extremely tired! haha!
Grandy came in to visit us and Savannah used this opportunity to take advantage of her great grandmother being there and making Grandy read her a million books until 11:00 at night! This girl is spoiled now!
Another perk of Savannah living with her grandparents is, she gets to drive all the time now!

DALLAS VACATION - 2011

A couple of weekends ago, we were blessed with the opportunity to have a weekend trip to Dallas! The weekend was actually our Anniversary. Normally, a couple would try to get away without the kids, but for us, we have been married for six years and couldn't imagine leaving for a whole weekend without her!
We started out the weekend at the American Girl Doll Store! I don't know about Savannah, but this was one of the coolest things that I have done so far as a Mom! Jeremy and I taking our little girl and her American Girl Doll to get her hair done will forever be stored in my memory bank as one of the funnest couple of hours of my life! Watching my little girl watch her little girl get her hair fixed was so much fun!
She picked out braided pig tails and blue and pink ribbon.
Jeremy and Nanna walking from the American Girl Store back to our hotel room.
Later on that afternoon, we headed on over to Six Flags! I was pretty skeptical about going to Six Flags with a two year old. I wasn't sure there would be much for her to do. Boy was I wrong!
Waiting in line! We kicked off the day with the Roger Rabbit Ferris Wheel!
She never slowed down! Kiddie land was GREAT for her!
I was for sure she would be scared to death. Oh no! She was looking down at me waving and having the best time!
We got to the next ride and I was thinking, "Oh this will be great. A little airplane ride. This isn't too scary...for me?"
Until the plane took off and they went flying up in the air going up and down, up and down! I was freaking out! She was laughing and LOVING it! I couldn't believe it! Thank goodness for this sweet little girl in front of her that became friends with her!
Johnson Creek School.
Wish this school had something to do with these Johnsons!
Waiting in line for the trucks!
I LOVED this ride...I mean, she LOVED this ride! :)
The next morning, we were planning on sleeping and my "usually sleeps until 10:30" child, woke us up EARLY and said, "there is sun out there, what are we going to do?"
So, we got ready and went to Ft. Worth to the Children's Museum and the Omni Theater! She is checking out Dad's groceries!
We were learning about Oil and Gas Drilling!
Jeremy said that he was born to be an Oil Tycoon! ha!
We LOVE the activity center at the Children's Museum!
Jeremy collects comic books, so when he saw the author of one of the comic books he collects, he was stoked! He has dreams of opening up a comic book store one day so he was gathering ideas from the author and got his autograph!
While Dad was chatting with celebrities, we were checking out this Dinosaur!
We took Savannah to her first Omni Theater Movie experience! Do you remember this part? The helicopter ride over Ft. Worth! Still gets me every time!
After spending about 5 hours at the Museum/Omni, we made our way over to Grapevine to the Gaylord to get ready for our dinner date with the Rodriquez family! We were so excited that we were able to meet Paige, Roberto and Jaelyn for dinner! Let's just say that I won Jaelyn over pretty fast!
Our view from the Hotel!
Family picture in front of the Alamo!
The girls were in shock that the elephants were talking behind us!
Jaelyn's ghetto fabulous dog that her parents bought for her! hahaha!
The best we could do getting a picture of the girls together! :)
Johnson Family Summer Vacation 2011 was a BLAST!
